In 1908 the name Wilsdorf and Davis was officially changed to Rolex. Around this time they also opened their first office in Switzerland. The idea behind the name Rolex was that it was easy to pronounce so everyone around the word could say the name. He also felt that the name Rolex sounded very much like winding a watch.

Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet is a Swiss watch company that specializes in making expensive and technical watches. They also make watches for other brands, for example Jaeger-LeCoultre is owned 40% by Audemars Piguet. Audemars Piguet also falls under the big 5 in the watch industry alongside: Rolex, Breitling, Patek Phillipe and Cartier.

Rolex

Rolex is known for their unique design and waterproof models. Even though all of the watches that we sell are waterproof, Rolex was the first company to create the first ever waterproof watch. Richard Mille is known for its rugged design and sturdy case. Richarde mille watches are worn by many athletes and are made to be super light yet strong enough to withstand various conditions. This way you can use Richard Mille when swimming, jogging, running or any other sports. 

Patek Philippe has a very solid exterior with beautiful clockwork on the inside. Patek Philippe is known for their most expensive watch, The Grandmaster Chime which got sold on auction for 31 million dollars. In December 2020, Patek Philippe got a spot in the top 10 most expensive watches that have ever been sold.
